Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
The short version
We collect only what we need to create your stories and run the waitlist. We never sell personal information. Details you share about a child are used solely to personalize that child's stories, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.
What we collect
Right now, MyKidsBook is pre-launch. The only information this site collects is the email address you submit to join our waitlist, along with standard anonymous analytics about how the site is used. When the product launches, story creation will involve details you choose to share about your child and family; our policy will be updated in full before that happens.
Children's information
Protecting children's information is central to how we build MyKidsBook. We design for compliance with the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the UK ICO Children's Code. Information about a child is provided by a parent or guardian, is used only to create their stories, and is never used for advertising or sold to anyone.
How we use your email
Waitlist emails are used to tell you about our launch, early access, and launch pricing. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to remove your address entirely by writing to hello@mykidsbook.co.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting hello@mykidsbook.co. If you are in the UK or EU, you have additional rights under the UK and EU GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
